I am a big fan of Donna Downey! I took her Fun with Fabric class on Big Picture Classes last summer and LOVED it! I also watch her Inspiration Wednesdays on her blog..I get so many great ideas and techniques..so any way. She introduced me to Helmar Glue and it quickly became my go to favorite glue. Why you ask?? I love the 450 Quick Dry glue because it is clear and dries clear AND you can wipe the excess away after it dries and it won't show on the paper! I also love that you can use it on fabric, paper and its acid free!
I am running low on my beloved 450 and I knew that the big 4.23oz bottles were no where to be found in the US, Helmar is made in Australia and everyone was out of it!! But the US division just got a huge shipment in so I contacted Bill Downey at Donna Downey's site to ask when they were going to get it in. He emailed me back saying they just ordered more and it should be in soon:) Two days later I notice on Donna's blog that she was having a giveaway sponsored by .......
I was so happy..so I left a comment like I do hundreds of times before....and guess what?? Two days later I saw Donna posted the winner and I saw this...
I won!!! I couldn't believe it!! I am not so patiently waiting for my box to arrive from Helmar! The UPS man should be arriving today with it!! Can't wait to share what I do with it!!
