Do you have problems covering chipboard?? Here are a few tips and tricks...
I use mat medium to adhere the papers to the chipboard. It dries quickly and it doesn't make the chipboard buckle like some of the other glues.
If you are painting chipboard or covering over something that is all ready on the chipboard like a print or foil I use gesso. Gesso is an acrylic primer used by artists to prime canvas. It covers like a dream!! It keeps the paint or other mediums from sinking into the chipboard. You use less paint and get a truer color by using Gesso! It can also be tinted by adding whatever color paint you are going to use on your project. Tinting it allows you to use less coats. Claudine Hellmuth Studios by Ranger now makes BLACK GESSO  It is awesome and you can also use it as Chalkboard paint!!

I hope this helps some of you who have a hard time with Chipboard.. the key is to use a great adhesive to lay the papers down !

Happy Scrapping!!
